St Patrick’s ICT Committee is made up of parents and staff who have an interest in developing Information and Communications Technology in school. We are very grateful to parents who share their expertise in a wide range of areas, such as networking, cloud storage, security, finance, and project management.

 

Over recent years, we have sourced funding to enable us to update teachers’ laptops; install state-of-the-art Promethean touchscreens in all classrooms, replacing older interactive boards; purchased a set of tablets that can be used by all children to access educational Apps tailored for their individual needs; and a set of laptops for senior class use.

 

A few years ago, we installed higher speed broadband and updated our network infrastructure, enabling us to significantly improve access to a wider range of teaching resources.

 

We are always looking towards the next project to enable optimal learning for our pupils, welcoming any input from our school community, and beyond.
