Senior Infants Maple started off the week celebrating placing 2nd in the Recycling rockets competition by enjoying a few dance breaks with their teddies in between lessons. We are exploring the theme of Space this month. The children compiled a list of things they wanted to learn more about and one of them was 'galaxies' so this week we learned about how our solar system is in a galaxy called the Milky Way. They created their own 'spiral' galaxy using soft pastels.
