6th Class have been learning about Native American history. In art we made teepees. Now that we are moving on to study the Gaelic Revival we can compare and contrast the experiences of the Native Americans to those of the Native Irish in their struggle against colonisers. We are also looking at the importance of maintaining cultural identity and the part that a native language plays in this.
