Junior Infants Willow: Farm Life and the Journey of Bread

Junior Infants Willow have been exploring the fascinating world of farm life and the journey of bread from farm to fork. As part of our learning, today we had a hands-on experience baking some delicious brown bread with the help of Bernie and her wonderful recipe. The children had a great time mixing and watching the bread come together.

Once baked, the bread went down a treat. It was absolutely delicious! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of their labour and had a fantastic time learning about how something can be made from scratch. What a wonderful experience to end our unit on the farm.
