In a world of endless online information, Safer Internet Day explores ways to empower children to thrive and equip them with skills to navigate both the opportunities and challenges of these powerful online influences.
Today Transition Year Students from Temple Carrig hosted workshops at St. Patrick's NS attended by 6th class. They taught us all about algorithms and influencers. After their presentation, we broke up into smaller groups, discussed any questions students had and everyone worked together on themed posters. After midterm break 6th Class will visit Temple Carrig to finish the posters with the transition year students. It was a lovely and very informative morning.
