5th Class Elm have been busy learning all about the Harvest and what it means, a special time to celebrate the gathering of crops and the hard work involved in growing our food.
We had a very special contribution from Jamie, who brought in some delicious homegrown grapes and apples from his own garden to share with the class. Jamie even has his own polytunnel, which helps him grow fruit at home, a fantastic example of sustainability and care for the environment. As an extra treat, Jamie also made a homemade apple crumble, using his very own apples. The class loved tasting it, what a delicious way to celebrate the Harvest!
