The children have had a great time learning about soil composition in geography. On Thursday, they did their own investigation into 5 mystery soil samples and used properties such as colour, aeration, water content, size and amount of mineral content, and types and amount of organic matter to hypothesis which sample came from a mountain, beach, forest, compost and lawn.
