Science: 3rd Class Beech
3rd Class Beech had an exciting science lesson this week, creating slime! Two girls from our class took on the role of teachers, sharing their expertise on mixing PVA and activator to achieve the perfect consistency. Their guidance made the activity even more fun. Well done 3rd Class!
Rang a Trí: Seachtain na Gaelige
Bhí deis iontach ag Rang a Trí cuairt a thabhairt ar Leabharlann na gCloch Liath. Léigh Denise O’Leary Tráth Scéal Miotais agus Finscéalta i nGaeilge agus i mBéarla. Léigh sí ‘An tOileán Thiar’ agus ansin chruthaigh na páistí a n-oileáin fantaisíochta féin. Míle buíochas do gach éinne ag Leabharlann na gCloch Liath! 3rd Class taking advantage of the sunshine!
3rd Class Beech and Pine took advantage of the sunshine today, combining Pancake Tuesday celebrations with World Book Week. The children decorated pancakes and enjoyed some DEAR time on our school’s fabulous new benches. They also made an exciting discovery – spotting frogspawn in the school pond!
