Fantastic Football Blitz Success 🌟⚽

3rd and 4th Class boys and girls had a fantastic day at the football blitz in Rathgar! A big well done to Team A for finishing an impressive 2nd place. The children showed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride throughout. Huge thanks to everyone who helped organise and volunteered on the day!

Boys Football Team Shine at County Finals ⚽🏆

Well done to the boys football team who represented the school in the County Finals on Thursday, having qualified back in March. They finished in 2nd place on the day and the team performed very well throughout the competition, winning 7 out of 8 matches. In our first year entering the FAI Primary tournament, reaching the County Finals is a fantastic achievement. We are so proud of the team.

This week we recognised the Boys Hockey Team for their incredible achievement in winning the Leinster Finals 3–0, demonstrating excellent skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament.🏑

Basketball Final! Best of Luck to Greystones Sharks! 🏀

We are incredibly proud of two of our Sixth Class boys, Charlie Hess and Oisín Bazyluk, who play basketball with the Greystones Sharks. The team secured a fantastic semi-final win yesterday against the Lusk Ravens in the Dublin Basketball League and now progress to the final tomorrow night in the National Basketball Arena. This is a huge achievement for both the team and the boys. We have everything crossed for Charlie, Oisín, and their teammates — go lads! 💪🏀

Huge congratulations to our boys’ hockey team on winning the Leinster Finals at the TRR—what an incredible achievement! The team secured an impressive 3–0 victory, with goals from George Doyle (2) and William Armstrong. Well done to all the players for their skill, teamwork, and determination: Euan Petrie, Gabriel Barrow McNamara, William Armstrong, Jack Sweeney, Cian Byrne, Jamie Dobbs, Joshua Harris Wright, Frank McGowan, Patrick Kemp, Arjun Raman, George Doyle, and Sam Nolan. We were so proud to give them a guard of honour as they left this morning—a truly well-deserved send-off. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the team along the way, including coaches, parents, and guardians who helped with training, transport, and encouragement. Your support made this remarkable achievement possible. 🎉👏

Well done to the boys’ hockey team, who won their semi-final against Castlepark in Loreto Bray and will now play in the Leinster finals at TRR next Thursday, great to see a full squad of 12 players representing the school!

Thank you so much to everyone who organised and participated in the sponsored fun run! Such a fun event for the children making physical activity accessible for all! A total of €7,106.90 was raised which will go towards the replacement and future-proofing of the Astro Pitch. Thank you everyone.

The Delgany Schools Cup at Delgany Golf Club

Well done to the children for participating in the Delgany School Cup at Delgany Golf Club on Monday 12th May. Both teams were runners up on the day, we are so proud of you all.

Leinster Primary School Tennis League

Well done to Max Bremer, Alex Bremer, Eoghan Lowe, Jamie Santry, Ronan Lowe and William Armstrong for doing so well in the division 1 of the Leinster primary schools tennis league. They boys narrowly lost out on making the finals, coming up against top Leinster juniors, some of which were competing at u14 level. Well done, we are all very proud of you.

Boys Hockey Team 1st Match!

The St. Patrick’s hockey teams have been very busy in the last few weeks! The girls team played their final 3 league matches in the last week, with a fantastic 3-0 victory on Monday. The boys had their final match cancelled, sadly, but it was declared a walkover. Continued success to them in their upcoming friendly matches! Well done to the teams, we are all really proud of them!
