A memorable day was had at the Oireachtas yesterday, where our pupils proudly represented the school and spoke with great confidence and maturity. Jack, Rachel, Jamie, Bodie and Lori delivered excellent presentations on their peer-to-peer education sessions with TCG and St David’s, and shared thoughtful reflections on their decision to hold off on mobile phones.
We were kindly welcomed by Senator Aubrey McCarthy, who gave us an impromptu tour of Leinster House. The group also had the opportunity to meet several public representatives, including Jennifer Whitmore and Mary Lou McDonald, and were warmly received in the Dáil by the Ceann Comhairle during a busy day of debate. The pupils were a credit to the school throughout.
Many thanks also to Christina and Alex for accompanying the trip, your support was greatly appreciated.
